崑崙山，五城十二樓：《海內十洲記》：“城上安金台五所，玉樓十二所。
唐《史記索隱》：”聖王坪系四方高中央低似城堡狀的窪地。窪地內部五座矮丘與窪地邊沿十二座低丘。同組成“崑崙五城十二樓”。
也有古籍稱“崑崙五城十二樓”係指崑崙西側的“盤亭列嶂”（古稱“石樓山”）。總之皆指崑崙丘。
